Gaza Health Ministry reported on Sunday, May 15, 2023, that the Israeli occupation killed 151 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Gaza including 33 Palestinians from Gaza during the ongoing Israeli offensive on the Strip.
The Israeli occupation killed 120 Palestinians in the West Bank and the 1948-occupied Palestinian lands during the course of the year 2023, according to a report by the Palestinian Information Center “Ma’ta.”
Ma’ta stated that the Israeli occupation killed 116 Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, and killed 4 others in the 1948-occupied Palestinian lands since the start of 2023, including 22 children under the age of 18.
The highest number of victims was recorded in Jenin as Israeli occupation forces killed 40 of its residents. Nablus followed with 32 Palestinians killed.
According to Ma’ta, Israeli occupation forces killed 176 Palestinians last year, including 45 children, seven women, and four elderlies, which is the highest number in the past four years.
The number of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails reached 6,551, including children, women, and ex-prisoners.
The number of settler attacks against Palestinians reached 1,512, while the number of shooting attacks carried out by Israeli forces reached 2,970.
