The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (Unrwa) said nine out of 10 Palestinians have been forcibly displaced in the Gaza Strip since the start of the war on Oct. 7.
Unrwa said on X that “Families seek shelter where they can: overcrowded schools, destroyed buildings, makeshift tents on the sand or amid piles of trash.”
“None of these places are safe. People have nowhere left to go,” it added.
Israeli attacks have also killed at least 21 people across Gaza since this morning.
This includes 18 Palestinians who were killed in Khan Younis, one person who was killed in an attack on the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, and two people who were killed in a strike on a residential building in Gaza City.
