Israeli occupation authorities rejected an appeal against the demolition of a Palestinian school east of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, Palestinian sources reported on Friday, March 17, 2023.
The appeal, submitted by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, came to reject an Israeli demolition order against Al-Tahadi School 5 in Beit Taamir.
Hassan Brijieh, director of the commission’s office in Bethlehem, stated that the Israeli court issued a decision to demolish the school in 2017.
Al-Tahadi School 5, one of 17 Al-Tahadi Schools, embraces about 66 Palestinian students.
In 2017, Israeli occupation forces demolished the school. However, Palestinians managed to rebuild it.
