Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) detained Wednesday evening, October 19, 2022 a 13-year-old Palestinian child while he was playing with his friends in Aida refugee camp to the north of Bethlehem, according to his father, Munther Emera.
The father, who is also a well-known Palestinian rights activist, stated that Israeli soldiers detained his 13-year-old son, Mohammed, while he was playing with his friends in the camp’s alleys.
Note that 4,500 Palestinians are currently detained inside Israeli occupation prisons, including 400 who have severe and chronic illnesses, 31 women, and 500 administrative detainees.
In the absence of strong pressure to stop the systemic inhumane abuses, the racist and fascist policies of the Prison Service Administration have a negative impact on Palestinian detainees.
