Scores of Israeli settlers invaded on Monday morning, March 20, 2023 the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed provocative rituals under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.

Local sources in Jerusalem reported that tens of Israeli settlers broke into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa and provocatively performed Talmudic rituals from the Al-Maghareba Gate area.

The Association of Palestine Scholars warned against the Israeli occupation forces and settlers organizing a large-scale storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the days of the current week, that according to recent statistics, more than 20 thousand settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque since the beginning of 2023, an increase of 15% from last year.

Israeli settlers carry out incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque and provocatively perform Talmudic rituals under the protection of Israeli occupation forces on a daily basis.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation imposes suffocating restrictions on the Palestinians’ entry to Al-Aqsa Mosque, regularly banning worshippers from entering the holy Mosque, especially amid the existence of the new Israeli extremist government and the new regulations Ben Gvir imposes on Palestinians.
