Gaza records 2 deaths, 754 infections from coronavirus within 24 hours

Gaza registered 754 new infections, including 2 deaths, from the coronavirus in the besieged Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, reported the heath ministry in Gaza on Friday.

In a statement, the Health Ministry said the territory’s virus count rose to 13193 confirmed cases, including 58 deaths, and 8761 recoveries. The number of active cases has reached 4374.

They affirmed that the total number of severe cases is (58) from Gaza City due to COVID-19 infection.

The ministry called on residents to pursue social distancing to help stem the spread of the virus.
