130 newborn babies in Gaza face the threat of death after Israel has cut off fuel supplies and crossings remain closed as the aggression continues to escalate. As the bombardment of Gaza continues, children remain innocent victims of this brutal aggression.
According to the Defence for Children International Palestine, more than 1,600 Palestinian children in Gaza have been killed by Israeli forces since October 7 and surviving children live to suffer physical and emotional trauma a result of intensive Israeli bombardment.
Although 20 trucks of food, medicine and water have been allowed into Gaza, the absence of electricity or fuel to run the local power plant or generators, or clear provision of aid to those in the north, the densely populated region still remains in desperate need.
Doctors in Gaza report being unable to care for children and other patients because the hospitals are overwhelmed by victims of Israeli airstrikes. 5 hospitals have been announced to be out of service as the number of Palestinian casualties continue to increase across the entirety of the Gaza Strip.
As the fighting intensifies, at least 4,385 Palestinians, including 1,756 children and 967 women, have been killed and over 13,561 injured in ongoing Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
70% of the victims of the Israeli aggression are children, women, and the elderly.
