A Palestinian woman was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces lat on Sunday at a checkpoint in the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
43-year-old Labiba Faza Sidqi Ghannam was killed at the Hamra checkpoint for allegedly attempting to stab Israeli occupation soldiers who were at the post.
Earlier on Sunday, Israeli forces shot dead two Palestinian teenagers at the entrance to Beit Einun village near the city of Hebron. They were identified as Muhammad Majid Musa Jabareen, 19, and Musa Mahmud Musa Jabareen, 18.
Palestinian Ministry of Health said at least 485 Palestinians have been killed and 4,900 wounded by Israeli forces and settlers’ attacks across the occupied West Bank since October 7th, 2023.
It added that the humanitarian crisis in the occupied West Bank has been further exacerbated by Israeli restrictions on movement which limit “the population’s access to basic healthcare”.
Deliberate Israeli restrictions on healthcare services constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and exacerbates the suffering of civilians, according to the Ministry.
