Commenting on the massive unjustified arrests by the Palestinian Authority, Rashida Tlaib, an American politician and lawyer serving as the U.S. Representative for Michigan’s 13th congressional district since 2019, addressed Mahmoud Abbas that Shame on you.
According to local sources, at least 24 Palestinians were arrested, including prominent names like poet Zakaria Mohammed, architect Khaldun Bishara, filmmaker Mohammed al-Attar, Palestinian-American activist, and Avaaz campaign director Fadi Quran by the PA.
In a Tweet, Tlaib said, Dear President Mahmoud Abbas, This is NOT how you protect and serve the Palestinian people.
“Shame on you for suppressing Palestinian voices who are trying to seek liberation from not only the Israeli apartheid government but from your corrupt leadership,” She added.
