Israeli occupation forces arrested on Saturday night and at dawn Sunday a young man from Ramallah and another from Bethlehem while clashes were reported in Jenin.
The Prisoners Information Office reported that Israeli occupation forces arrested Ali Nofal from Ras Karkar village, west of Ramallah.
The Office said that Israeli occupation forces released Nofal this morning after several hours of interrogation.
In another development, Israeli occupation forces soldiers stormed Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem, on Sunday morning and arrested Shadi Taqatqa, 23, after they raided and searched his family’s house.
In Jenin, confrontations broke out between the youths and Israeli occupation forces soldiers after they raided a house in Kfert village, west of Jenin.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces set up a military checkpoint southwest of Jenin amidst the outbreak of clashes.
The Israeli forces soldiers fired sound bombs during the confrontations, but no injuries or arrests were reported.
Local sources said that Israeli occupation forces closed the Dothan checkpoint, which led to Mabu Dothan’s settlement, near Ya’bad town, southwest of Jenin, and carried out a search campaign.
Israeli occupation forces keep their crimes against Palestinians in West Bank and Jerusalem, terrorizing their residents, particularly children and women, through daily night raids.
The Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association said that 4750 Palestinian prisoners were detained by the Israeli occupation, among them 550 administrative detainees, 200 children, 42 females. Seventy prisoners are from the 1948 territories, 400 from Jerusalem, 240 from Gaza Strip.
