The Israeli authorities demolished on Sunday homes and facilities under construction in Umm el-Fahm, in the 1948 occupied lands, under the pretext of building without a permit.

According to the Arab 48 website, the Israeli police, reinforced by special units, raided the Swisah and Wadi al-Harmiya areas in Umm el-Fahm, besieged and cordoned off the site, and razed two houses owned by the Jabarin family.

The Israeli police prevented residents from entering the area and protected dozens of bulldozers that carried out the demolition.

Last May, the Israeli authorities issued demolition orders for houses under construction in Umm el-Fahm, including 25 homes under construction in Swisah and Wadi al-Harmiya.
