Days of Palestine – Jenin
On Wednesday evening, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a Palestinian teenager at a military checkpoint near Jenin City on allegations of his intention to carry out a stabbing attack.
According to local sources, occupation forces at the Jalamah checkpoint yelled at 15-year-old Abboud Abu Zamiro to stop and forced him to strip naked and walk towards them before detaining him.
The incident happened only two days after the Israeli occupation forces shot four Palestinian young men dead during clashes with local youths and resistance fighters during an operation in the Jenin refugee camp.
Israeli occupation forces keep their crimes against Palestinians in West Bank and Jerusalem, terrorizing their residents, particularly children and women, through daily night raids.
The Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association said that 4750 Palestinian prisoners were detained by the Israeli occupation, among them 550 administrative detainees, 200 children, 42 females. Seventy prisoners are from the 1948 territories, 400 from Jerusalem, 240 from Gaza Strip.
