Days of Palestine – Ramallah
The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority Today, Wednesday, said that the Israeli occupation authorities continue to neglect the health condition of the sick prisoner Jamal Ibrahim Amro (48 years), from Hebron, who suffers from a deteriorating health condition, as medical data indicate the possibility of having a cancerous tumor in the liver and kidneys.
The authority indicated, in a statement, that the prisoner Amr, who has been detained since 2004 and sentenced to life imprisonment and languishing in “Nafha” prison, has suffered during the years of his detention from health problems, and underwent stomach surgery, and recently suffered from severe urinary tract infections that necessitated his transfer. A week ago, he was transferred to Soroka Hospital for 5 days.
They pointed out that the Israeli occupation prisons administration has been procrastinating in providing the minimum requirements for health care for the prisoner Amr, which threatens his health condition to deteriorate rapidly, knowing that he is married and has three children.
