Days of Palestine – Gaza
Hamas Movement has renewed its demand for Saudi Arabia to release the Palestinian detainees in its prisons, led by its former representative to Riyadh, Muhammad Al-Khudari, and his son Hani, stressing that there is no justification for their continued detention.
The movement’s spokesman, Fawzi Barhoum, said in a written statement today, Thursday that the basic principle is to honor them for what they have provided in service to the Kingdom and its people, not to arrest and torture them, especially as they have not committed any offense or crime.
He added that the time has come to release all of them, specifically that the nation lives the days of the blessed month of Ramadan.
"The religious, moral, and ethical imperative for the Saudi authorities to release them immediately and return them to their families and families," Barhoum stressed.
Amnesty International revealed in a recent statement that Al-Khudari, 83, became paralyzed and lost parts of his teeth.
Hamas also announced that a major deterioration had occurred in the health of its former representative in Saudi Arabia, Muhammad al-Khudari, who had been detained there since 2019.
The Saudi authorities arrested al-Khudari, the former Hamas ambassador to Riyadh, in April 2019, accompanied by his son Hani.
Since the beginning of the conversation about the case, Riyadh has not issued any comment or clarification on the matter.
