DaysofPal- The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Thursday that the number of people killed by Israeli occupation forces since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, has risen to 1,059, underscoring the continued human toll despite the truce as Israeli attacks continue.
In its daily update, the ministry said that four bodies and 12 injured individuals were brought to hospitals over the past 24 hours.
According to the report, two of the fatalities were newly recorded deaths, while the other two were recovered from under rubble.
The ministry stated that since the ceasefire began, a total of 3,429 people have been injured, in addition to 788 bodies retrieved during ongoing recovery efforts, as the Israeli genocide never stops.
It added that the overall death toll since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on October 7, 2023, has climbed to 73,074, with 173,537 people reported injured.
Health officials noted that an unknown number of victims remain trapped beneath collapsed buildings or lying in areas inaccessible to emergency teams.
Ambulance and civil defense crews continue to face significant challenges in reaching these locations, the ministry said.
Despite the ceasefire, recovery operations and casualty reporting remain ongoing amid widespread destruction and limited access to affected areas across the Gaza Strip because of the Israeli attacks and siege.
