Days of Palestine – Tubas
The Israeli occupation forces Sunday morning stormed "Khirbet Atouf" village, east of Tubas, and confiscated a truck that was working on paving streets and transporting stones.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village and confiscated a truck belonging to the contractor, Samer Rabiaa.
It indicated that the Israeli occupation forces arrested the driver of the truck, which was working on paving roads and transporting stones for the roads.
"Khirbet Atouf" is adjacent to the village of "Tamoun" and belongs to it, and is classified in Area C according to the Oslo Agreement, which doubles the suffering of its residents, so the Israeli occupation expels the people from their lands, claiming that they are closed military areas.
Its residents work as livestock, and the "Khirbet" includes large lands suitable for agriculture and overlooks "the Baqi'ah Plain", which is one of the most famous plains in Palestine.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation forces have taken away no less than 80% of its lands in favor of Israeli agricultural settlements, army, and training camps, and their residents are prevented from benefiting from them.
