Zehut Party Chairman and former Knesset Member Moshe Feiglin published on Wednesday a Twitter and Facebook post celebrating Beirut's massive explosion, which left at least 130 people deand and 5,000 injured and aclled it "a spectacular fireworks show."
Moshe Feiglin wrote in honor of Tu B'Ac, Jewish holiday of love which took place on Wednesday, we got a "spectacular fireworks show" in Beirut's port.
Feiglin also criticized on his post Israel's withdrawal from Southern Lebanon in 2000.
Moshe Zalman Feiglin is an Israeli politician and activist, and the leader of libertarian Zionist party Zehut. A former member of Likud, he headed the Manhigut Yehudit faction within the party, and represented Likud in the Knesset between 2013 and 2015.
Following the heavy destruction, countries around the world have offered humanitarian aid to Lebanon, among them was Israel. According to local Lebanese sources, Israel's offer was totally ignored by the government.
