Israeli occupation is to buy three more nuke submarines from Germany may be to improve its ability to fight Palestinian stone-throwers.
In fact, Israel has many advanced submarines, but it is seeking more advanced ones from Germany at a combined price of $1.3 billion.
An Israeli newspaper Maariv said that the planned purchase aims to replace within oldest vessels in its existing Dolphin fleet, which entered service in 1999.
In addition of the five German submarines it has, the Israeli occupation is still waiting for with a sixth due for delivery in 2017.
The Dolphin submarines, a source from the Israeli defence ministry said, would be equipped with missiles armed with nuclear warheads.
Of course, Israel has more than 200 warheads and missiles capable of delivering them, and the whole world gives it a blind eye despite the proofed usage of internationally-banned weapons against Palestinians.
“The new submarines are said to be more advanced, longer, and equipped with better accessories,” Maariv said.
In 2012, the influential German news weekly Der Spiegel quoted former high-ranking German defence ministry officials saying that Berlin always assumed Israel was putting nuclear warheads on the Dolphin-class vessels.
