Days of Palestine, West Bank -Israeli occupation troops liquidated on Friday afternoon Palestinian citizen at Gush Etzion Junction, near West Bank city of Bethlehem.
Medical sources said that the Israeli occupation troops opened fire at the Palestinian citizen Mahmoud abu-Fannounah, 21, and left him bleeding to death.
Eyewitnesses said that Abu-Fannounah, from Al-Khalil, was driving his car and got closer to a car of an Israeli settler, when the Israeli occupation troops opened fire at him.
Palestinian Red Crescent said that an ambulance was dispatched to the scene, but the Israeli occupation soldiers refused to let the paramedics to offer any kind of medical help.
“They left the Palestinian citizen lying on the ground and bleeding until he died,” one of the Palestinian nurses, who were in the ambulance, said.
An Israeli army spokesman said that the Israeli troops opened fire at Abu-Fannounah after he attempted to stab an Israeli settler.
However, eyewitnesses said that he did not, and the Israeli occupation troops opened fire at him while he was still driving.
In order to keep credit their narrative about the killing, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the reporter of the Turkish news agency Anadolu Hisham abu-Shaqra, who chanced upon taking footage for the Israeli soldiers at the junction when they opened fire at Abu-Fannounah.
By killing Abu-Fannounah, the Israeli occupation has killed 206 Palestinians since the start of October, 2015, including 125 were killed over attempts to stab Israelis. Fifty-eight of them were from Al-Khalil and 13 were killed at Gush Etzion junction.
It is worth mentioning that the Israeli occupation forces arrested two Palestinian children earlier to the liquidation of Abu-Fannounah over claims they planned to carry out a stabbing attack after the Israeli forces found a nail cutter in the pocket of one of them.
