Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip –Egyptian naval coup forces opened on Saturday afternoon fire at Palestinian fishermen off the Gaza coasts.
Palestinian sources said that the Palestinian fishermen off the coast of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, were surprised with the Egyptians naval forces opening fire at them.
The fishermen said they were obliged to flee the sea under the heavy Egyptian fire launched from gunboats wandering very close to the Palestinians waters.
According to the fishermen and medical sources, no casualties were reported.
Egyptian naval forces have several times opened fire on the Palestinian fishermen off the Gaza coast. They also have arrested a number of the fishermen from the sea.
