Hamas Hails
Ezzat al-Resheq, a member of Hamas’ political bureau, praised all countries’ positions on Friday condemning Israel’s repeated atrocities against Palestinians and their sacred places.
“We appreciate the Malaysian Prime Minister’s statements in which he urged the US to reconsider its role in the Palestinian issue,” Resheq said in a statement to the PIC, hailing the positions of Malaysia in support of the Palestinian cause.
Resheq also praised Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro for expressing his country’s support for the just Palestinian struggle and constantly stressing that his country is committed to the Palestinian cause. saying “will not leave Palestine alone.”
“Such positions that support Palestinians amidst unprecedented international silence regarding the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people, land, and holy sites expose the policy of double standards that is pursued by a number of countries topped by the US vis-à-vis our people’s just cause and legitimate rights,” Resheq added.
He called for international support for the Palestinian people in their struggle against the Israeli occupation.
