Venezula backs palestine

The Venezuelan National Assembly, in its regular assembly, on Friday voted unanimously on the draft “solidarity agreement with the state and people of Palestine” on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the Nakba.

In the statement, the association expressed its refusal to the assassination of the Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Aqleh by the Israeli occupation forces.

The project that was created at the conclusion of the parliamentary session, the European Parliament, India its struggle against the Israeli occupation.

The statement mentioned the Palestinian Nakba, which has passed 74 years, considering it a clear theft of Palestinian land and a crime against humanity committed against the Palestinian people.

The statement carried a message of support and solidarity for the Palestinian people against the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against them, calling on all parliaments of the world to provide support to the Palestinian people, and to comply with relevant United Nations resolutions, especially resolutions 192 related to the right of return and 242 related to the Palestinian land occupied in 1967 and the call of Israel, the occupying power, to withdraw. Including, denouncing the murder of journalist Sherine Abu Aqleh.

Malaysia supports Palestine

On another note, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, has urged the Malaysian Family to rise up and criticize the atrocities of the Zionists against Palestine and to restore the rights and dignity of the Palestinian people living under occupation.

He said the matter is a joint responsibility of humans to act in accordance with their humanity when a certain community is being oppressed.

“Malaysia is one of the countries which have been vocal on the issue. The atrocities against Palestinians must stop.

He added, “In fact, Malaysia views seriously the killing and brutalities carried out by the Israeli regime against the Palestinians,” he said in his speech text—read by the Special Advisor to the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom— at the opening of the Ulama Summit 2022 here today.

The summit held for the first time has assembled 150 ulamas and scholars all over the world to discuss the issue with the theme “Solidarity for the liberation of Al-Aqsa”.

He said that Malaysia seriously views the issue of atrocities against Muslims in Palestine and provides continuing, support, and plays its role and efforts toward the well-being of Muslims.

“Malaysia would continue to play its role as a Muslim country without fear or favor and to support efforts for the solidarity and well-being of Muslims especially in liberating Al-Aqsa which is the third holiest Muslim city,” he said.

He said the commitment and stand of Malaysia for Palestine were among the matters raised at the Special ASEAN-United States Summit chaired by President Biden in Washington DC recently.

“Malaysia was vocal in calling on the US to use its influence to resolve the issue which has prolonged for 74 years,” he stated and added that “the war had also threatened the fabric of international peace.”

the support of Malaysia for Palestine is not only based on religion, he said the struggle is also to “assist to restore the rights and dignity of the Palestinians.”

He added that the killing of a veteran Al Jazeera journalist by the Israeli army in the West Bank also showed its brutality, which was followed by disrespecting the sanctity of the dead body Shireen Abu Akleh, 51, where Israeli soldiers pushed and hit (and arrested) the coffin bearers.

Ismail Sabri hoped that the organization of the summit would bring Malaysia closer to a workable solution and bear fruit for the ummah and the Islamic nation.

He also prayed that Allah SWT would grant the wisdom and courage to seek justice in the era of modern human civilization, thus enabling Muslim countries to continue to fight for freedom from any form of oppression.

The three-day Ulama Summit 2022 which began today, is organized by Yayasan MyAQSA and Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia, and it is attended by ulamas from within and outside the country.

Hamas Hails

Ezzat al-Resheq, a member of Hamas’ political bureau, praised all countries’ positions on Friday condemning Israel’s repeated atrocities against Palestinians and their sacred places.

“We appreciate the Malaysian Prime Minister’s statements in which he urged the US to reconsider its role in the Palestinian issue,” Resheq said in a statement to the PIC, hailing the positions of Malaysia in support of the Palestinian cause.

Resheq also praised Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro for expressing his country’s support for the just Palestinian struggle and constantly stressing that his country is committed to the Palestinian cause. saying “will not leave Palestine alone.”

“Such positions that support Palestinians amidst unprecedented international silence regarding the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people, land, and holy sites expose the policy of double standards that is pursued by a number of countries topped by the US vis-à-vis our people’s just cause and legitimate rights,” Resheq added.

He called for international support for the Palestinian people in their struggle against the Israeli occupation.
