More than 200 Colonial Israeli settlers invaded Wednesday 12 October 2022, the sacred Al-Aqsa Mosque on the third day of the Hebrew ‘Throne Day’, under Israeli occupation forces’ strict protection.
Local Sources reported that dozens of Israeli colonial settlers broke into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa and performed provocative Talmudic rituals in some of its courtyards.

Coinciding with Israeli settlers’ storming of Al-Aqsa mosque, Israeli occupation troops imposed strict restrictions on the entry of Palestinians to the compound, checked Palestinian IDs at the Al-Asbat gate, and only allowed Palestinians holding Jerusalem ID access to the compound.
Earlier this morning, Israeli troops detained Al-Aqsa Mosque guards Khalil Al-Tarhouni and Hamza Al-Nabali after assaulting and forcibly expelling them from Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards.
Israeli occupation forces assaulted on Wednesday morning two of the guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and detained them.

In this context, a colonial settler performed the so-called ‘epic prostration’ on the doorstep while others conducted Talmudic rituals in front of the Qattanin Gate, one of the Al-Aqsa Mosque gates.
These incursions come in response to calls made by the “Temple Groups” for its settlers to organize the largest incursion into Al-Aqsa Mosque today.
As part of a decades-old accord between Jordan and the Israeli occupation, non-Muslims are not allowed to perform any religious rituals inside the confines of Al-Aqsa Mosque, nor are Israeli symbols allowed to be displayed.
