Local sources reported that dozens of armed Israeli settlers broke into Hawara town, south of Nablus, attacked the Palestinian homes, and chased the Palestinian youths who stood up to defend their homes and properties.
Israeli settlers chased the Palestinian youths and sprayed 5 Palestinians with pepper gas in Hawara town, south of Nablus.
In a related incident, a Palestinian resident was injured after his vehicle was targeted near the town of Hawara, south of Nablus by the Israeli settlers.
Israeli settlers attacked the house of Palestinian youth Bilal Yousef Dhamidi in the eastern area of Hawara, causing damage to the windows of the house.
Israeli settlers’ attacks have escalated recently against the Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank including attacking Palestinian homes and chasing Palestinian youths.
Since the beginning of 2022, Israeli settlers have carried out 290 attacks on Palestinians and their own property in the occupied West Bank, 230 of which caused property damage, and 60 of them caused injuries to Palestinian residents, according to United Nations reports.
More than 650,000 colonial settlers were distributed among 164 illegal settlements and 124 outposts built on the stolen lands of occuiped West Bank and Jerusalem.
