Groups of Israeli settlers attacked Sunday, April 23, 2023, Palestinian shepherds in the Ain al-Sakot area in the northern Jordan Valley.
According to local sources, Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian shepherds and stole a herd of cows belonging to the Palestinian citizen Fawzi Daraghmeh, and assaulted his son.
It is noteworthy that Israeli settlers attack Palestinian shepherds on an almost daily basis in many areas of the northern Jordan Valley, expelling them from the pastures, and preventing them from reaching water springs.
Since the beginning of 2023, Israeli settlers have carried out more than 220 attacks on Palestinians and their own property in the occupied West Bank, 230 of which caused property damage, and 60 of them caused injuries to Palestinian residents, according to latest United Nations reports.
Currently, about 600,000 Israeli settlers live in over 230 illegal settlements built since 1967 in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
They routinely carry attacks against Palestinians and their properties under full support and protection from Israeli occupation forces.
