Israeli Settlers Attack Palestinian Family East of Ramallah, Steal Livestock

Israeli settlers from Kawkab al-Sabah settlement, east of Ramallah, attacked Wednesday, March 15, 2023 the Palestinian citizen Sadiq Farakhneh’s tent and his family, and stole 30 heads of livestock and a donkey.

Farakhneh said that six Israeli settlers attacked his tent and barn, barbarically beat him and his family, and stole 30 sheep and one donkey.

He added that the Israeli occupation soldiers stormed his tent following Israeli settlers’ attack near the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah, and assaulted him before leaving the place.

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority checked the place and provided urgent assistance to the Palestinian citizen, the urgent they could do to protect him and his livestock from the rain, especially after parts of his tent and sheep pens were vandalized.

About 700,000 Israeli settlers live currently in more than 200 settlements built on Palestinian land considered illegal under International law.

Palestinian figures showed that Israeli forces and settlers carried out about 700 attacks against Palestinian families and their properties in the occupied West Bank.

The attacks included assaulting Palestinians, uprooting trees, razing lands, seizing properties, burning and vandalizing vehicles, and closing roads.
