For the month of January, over 700 assaults against Palestinians and their belongings were perpetrated by the Israeli occupation forces and illegal Israeli settlers.

These aggressions included attacking individuals, damaging property, razing land, uprooting trees, confiscating and destroying property, blocking off roads and inflicting physical harm.

The Nablus Governorate had the highest number of attacks (131), followed by the Jenin Governorate (128), and the Bethlehem Governorate (105).

The total number of assaults perpetrated by illegal Israeli settlers was 150, most of which were concentrated in the Nablus Governorate, and they attempted to construct six new illegal outposts in various parts of the occupied West Bank.

In January, the Israeli occupation issued 55 demolition and stop construction orders, citing a lack of a permit as the reason for the action, with the majority of those orders occurring in the Hebron, Bethlehem, and Salfit governorates.

94 homes and commercial facilities were demolished in a focused effort in the Jerusalem, Jericho, and Hebron governorates, with 81 total demolitions recorded.

The Israeli occupation authorities gave the green light to three new projects that would increase the size of the unlawful settlements of Emmanuel (constructed on Salfit land) and Gilo (constructed on Bethlehem land).
