Israeli occupation forces launched Wednesday, 14 December 2022, a campaign of raids across the occupied West Bank, detaining at least 22 Palestinians after breaking into their homes.
Local sources reported that the heavily armed Israeli forces broke into Hebron, Ramallah, Jerusalem, Nablus, Tulkarm, Jenin, Ramallah, and Qalqilya detaining several Palestinians after raiding their houses and terrorizing their families in multiple military raids across the occupied West Bank.
In the south of the West Bank, Israeli troops invaded Hebron and kidnapped 8 Palestinians identified as Adam Taha Abu Sharar, Youssef Muhammad Abu Ras, Ahmed Salman Abu Sondos, Thaer Jihad Abu Sondos, Rizk al-Rajoub, Jad Allah Rajoub, Muhammad Kamel Qutayl, and Anas Muhammad Jabarin.
In Nablus, Israeli occupation arrested the young Palestinian men Ahmed Saleh, Abdullah Abboud, Darwish Abu Halima, and Louay Hamayel after raiding their house in the Al-Zawata and Rafidia neighborhoods northeast of the city.
In Jerusalem, the Palestinian youth Osama Abu Eid reported that Israeli military troops invaded his home in the town of Bedouin and kidnapped him along with Osama Abu Eid, Zaher Al-Khadour, and Uday Saddam Badwan after raiding and searching their homes.
In Tulkarem, the 32-year-old freed Palestinian prisoner Muhammad Hassan Khalaf reported that Israeli military troops kidnapped him along with Othman Muhammad Al-Ghoul from Nur Shams camp.
In Jenin, Israeli forces arrested Amjad Jamal Mustafa Melhem, Ahmed Nafeh Qabha, and Muhammad Khalil Qabha while they were passing through an Israeli military checkpoint stationed at the entrance of the village.
In Ramallah, Israeli forces arrested the Palestinian field paramedic Ahmed Al-Ajouri from the town of Al-Mughayyir.
In Qalqilya, the Palestinian young man Mahmoud Titan was arrested by Israeli occupation forces after raiding his house.
Palestinian towns and villages in the occuiped West Bank and Jerusalem have seen increased near-daily military raids and violations by Israeli forces in recent months.
There are 4700 Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails illegally held by Israeli occupation including 30 women and 400 children.
