Israeli occupation forces detain 21 Palestinian Citizens

The Israeli occupation forces detained on Monday, August 22nd, 2022, 21 Palestinian citizens from various areas in the West Bank and Jerusalem

The Israeli occupation forces detained 11 citizens from Bethlehem governorate, they are Ashraf Mustafa Salah (43 years), his son Mustafa (17 years), Ibrahim Mahmoud Salah (40 years), his son Mahdi (17 years), Jaafar Yaqoub Dadu’ (47 years), and his son Ibrahim, 16, who is a freed prisoner, and Atta Sobeih and his son Abdullah, 17, from the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, in addition to Shadi Ali Asakreh (25 years), Mahmoud Salem Sabah (23 years), and Issa Mustafa Al-Arouj (30 years). ) from the Asakrah area.

In Ramallah governorate, the Israeli occupation forces detained 4 citizens from Barqa, southeast of the governorate: Haitham Ahmed Afoun Barakat (22 years), Muhammad Zaki Noman Barakat (25 years), Islam Abdel Karim Taha Maatan (24 years), and Abdul Jabbar Muhammad Nawabit, 25, after they raided and searched their homes.

In the Jerusalem governorate, the occupation forces detained on Monday, August 22nd the secretary of the “Fatah” movement in Jerusalem, Shadi Al-Motor, after they raided his house in the town of Beit Hanina, and extended his detention until tomorrow, Tuesday.

The occupation forces also arrested the Jerusalemite Muhammad Abd Al-Ghani Al-Omari, after assaulting him in Al-Ghazali Square near Bab Al-Asbat, before taking him in for interrogation.

In this same context, the Israeli occupation authorities summoned the boy, Abdullah Simrin, for interrogation, after storming his family’s home in the Al-Thawri neighborhood in Jerusalem.

In Nablus governorate, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the liberated prisoner, Farid Abdel Latif Najm, from Tal Street, and the liberated captive Zaher Musa, in the village of Zawata, west of the governorate.

In Tulkarm, the occupation forces arrested the young man, Bilal Abdel Aziz Saleh Nayfeh (28 years), after they raided his house in the Tulkarm camp.

During their storming of the camp, the occupation forces also destroyed a number of Palestinian vehicles lined up along the main street.

In the Hebron Governorate, the IOF arrested Fadi Hassan Abu Eisha (29 years), after they raided his house in the town of Taffouh, searched it, and tampered with its contents.

In the same context, the occupation forces set up several military checkpoints at the northern entrances to Hebron, and at the entrances to the towns of Sa`ir, Ithna, and Halhul .
