Israeli occupation authorities issued a banishment order against one of Al-Aqsa Mosque’s guards, banishing him from the blessed Mosque.
The Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-detainees stated that Israeli occupation authorities released today the Palestinian guard of Al-Aqsa Mosque Mohammed Al-Salhi.
The Detainees Commission pointed out that the Israeli occupation ordered to banish Al-Salhi from the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque for four days.
It also added that the banishment order came as a condition for Al-Salhi’s release. The Israeli authorities also imposed a fine to release him.
Israeli occupation forces regularly attack guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, banning them from entering the mosque, demolishing their homes, and arresting them.
In January 2022, Israel prevented dozens of guards appointed by the Islamic Endowment Department at Al-Aqsa Mosque, from assuming their jobs.
