IOF Demolishes House in Occupied Neqev

S.K | DOP -

The Israeli occupation forces demolished Wednesday, September 21, 2022 a house belongs to a Palestinian citizen in al-Buqei’a area in occupied Neqev.

The house owner, Salem Abu ‘Asida, stated that Israeli occupation forces escorted a bulldozer to the village he resides in, where the heavy machinery knocked down his own house purportedly for being built without a license, rendering his 14-member family homeless.

He added that the Israeli troops also detonated his water tanks and threw his wheat crop to the floor.

There has been an increase in the number of Palestinian citizens of Israel having their homes demolished, including in Tayibe and Qalansawe cities in the center of Israel, Ein Mahil and Kafr Yasif towns, Shefa-Amr city in the north of Israel, Yaffa, Lidd, Umm al-Fahm cities, Sakhnin, and Hurfeish town.

It’s worth mentioning that Palestinian villagers of al-Buqei’a were originally expelled from their original lands near Dimona following the establishment of Israel in 1948.

The Israeli authorities have served the villagers, currently estimated at 1,000 people, notices to forcefully displace them.
