DaysofPal- The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) escalated war crimes in the Gaza Strip in the genocide’s 680th day amid a new wave of bloodshed, as IOF continued heavy aerial and artillery bombardment across different parts of the enclave, committing massacres against civilians and entire families. At the same time, the humanitarian crisis deepens to unprecedented levels.
According to the Ministry of Health, the death toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 61,827 martyrs with more than 155,275 injured, while since the collapse of the truce on March 18, 2025, there have been 10,300 martyrs and 43,234 wounded.
Thousands remain missing under the rubble, in mass graves of the unknown, or held in Israeli prisons under enforced disappearance.
Over the past few hours, the Israeli forces committed a series of horrific crimes. In Khan Younis’s Mawasi area, Yousef Mu’tasim Shaheen al-Batta and his wife Saja Ghassan al-Naffar were killed, and three others injured, after their tent sheltering displaced people was bombed.
In the central Bureij refugee camp, a new massacre wiped out the entire Ghanem family from the civil registry after their home was struck, killing father Mohammed Ahmed Ghanem, his wife Zuhaira Sukkar, and their three children Omar, Raneem, and Reem.
In northern Khan Younis, Israeli forces demolished several residential buildings. At the same time, artillery targeted the area surrounding the Islamic Complex southeast of Gaza City, and military vehicles opened fire east of Zeitoun neighborhood.
Meanwhile, warplanes and helicopters launched simultaneous strikes on eastern Bureij, causing further deaths and injuries.
Once again, Gaza’s night bore witness to a genocidal war targeting both people and stones alike.
Neither the displaced in their tents nor families in their homes were spared from the shelling, in a scene that only worsens the humanitarian catastrophe and pushes civilians toward certain death, as no horizon for halting the aggression or securing safe humanitarian corridors is in sight.
