In a report published Tuesday, 31 January 2023, the Council on International Relations-Palestine (CIR) stated that 2022 was the bloodiest and most brutal year for the Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian lands since 2005 as the Israeli occupation killed about 230 Palestinians, injured thousands, and demolished hundreds of Palestinian homes.
The council added that the report that monitored the Israeli occupation violations during 2022 shows that Israeli crimes are nothing but state terrorism and not individual acts, regardless of what the Israeli government is whether right or left.
The report included monitoring the violations of the Israeli occupation forces and settlers against Palestinian children, women, prisoners, journalists, property, sanctities, and the ongoing expansion plans of Israeli illegal settlements.
“Israeli racist and brutal policy, especially in light of the new government, if there is no immediate and firm intervention from the international community to curb it, the worst is yet to come.” noted in the council’s report.
The Council called on the international community to review its policies in light of the Israeli violations of human rights and not to be content with statements and statements that grant the Israeli occupation immunity from any punishment.
