DaysofPal-A photo exhibition titled “Gaza: Chronology of the Genocide” opened in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, showcasing images documenting the humanitarian reality in the Gaza Strip during the Israeli war.
The exhibition is part of the WARM Festival, which specializes in documenting conflicts and wars through photography and visual storytelling. It features photographs by Palestinian photojournalist Ali Jadallah, captured during his field coverage in Gaza, documenting civilian suffering and the destruction caused by the war.
The exhibition’s curator, Damir Šagolj, described Ali Jadallah as the photographer who has provided the most comprehensive documentation of what is taking place in Gaza, saying that no photographer had previously documented a genocide in such a direct manner.
Šagolj said the opening of the exhibition coincided with the anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1995, highlighting the connection between human tragedies and the importance of documenting atrocities to preserve collective memory.
The exhibition presents Jadallah’s photographs as a record of the experiences of civilians in Gaza, capturing displacement, destruction, and the humanitarian consequences of the war.
Gaza’s Ministry of Health reported that the death toll since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, has reached 1,098, with 3,535 people injured and 800 bodies recovered.
The ministry added that the overall death toll from the Israeli war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,221, with 173,643 people injured, including severe and critical cases.
