Palestinian National Parties affirmed Tuesday, 31 January 2023 that Israeli occupation’s repressive measures against the Palestinian detainees are a dangerous escalation and ‘play with fire’.
The Palestinian factions added that the issue of Palestinian detainees is at the top of their priorities, asserting that Israeli occupation forces and the prison administration’s escalation against Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails are a crime and a flagrant violation of international law.
Earlier today, the Israeli occupation administration of the ‘Damon’ jail isolated the representative of the Palestinian Female Detainees in the Israeli jails Yasmine Shaaban after attacking her.
Moreover, the Israeli occupation oppression units stormed the Israeli jail of ‘Damon’, brutally attacked the Palestinian female detainees, and confiscated all their belongings turning the rooms into cells.
In 2022, Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 172 Palestinian women in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
There are 4700 Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails illegally held by Israeli occupation including 30 women and 400 children.
