DaysofPal- Hamas Movement has called for increased unity and solidarity with the Palestinian people as Muslims around the world mark Eid al-Fitr.
In a statement released Thursday, Hamas congratulated the Palestinian people and the wider Muslim community on the occasion of Eid, urging that its days serve as an opportunity to strengthen bonds of brotherhood, unity, and mutual support.
The group emphasized the importance of standing in solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Hamas expressed hope that acts of worship, sacrifices, and devotion during the holy month of Ramadan would be accepted, and that the occasion would return with greater unity and cohesion among Muslims.
It added that such unity would help counter the hostile plans targeting Palestinian land, resources, security, and stability, and bring Palestinians closer to achieving their aspirations of liberation and return.
The movement said it shares in both the spiritual celebrations and the ongoing resilience of Palestinians across different regions, highlighting their steadfastness, commitment to their rights and principles, and defense of their land and holy sites.
Hamas also called on Palestinians at home and abroad to use Eid as an occasion to strengthen unity, social solidarity, and cooperation, renewing their commitment to defending their land, Jerusalem, holy sites, and prisoners until the occupation ends.
The movement paid tribute to those killed, describing them as martyrs, and prayed for the swift recovery of the wounded and sick.
It also called for the near release of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails and expressed hope for imminent relief and victory, including the liberation of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
