Israeli occupation forces IOF killed 12 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem in April 2023, according to data collected by Days of Palestine DOP.
According to DOP’s data, the Israeli troops shot dead 12 Palestinians, including 2 children. Most of them were killed during the IOF’s military raids.
The data indicated that four Palestinians were killed in Nablus, two in Jericho, and one in each Jerusalem, Salfit, Hebron, Bethlehem, Qalqilia, and Yaffa.
Children
Israel systematically targets Palestinian children across occupied Palestine by terror, arrest, or murder. Two children fell victim to Israel’s brutality in April.
Mohammed Balhan, 15, was shot dead by Israeli forces on April 20 during a military raid in Jericho’s Aqabet Jaber refugee camp.
In addition, the Israeli troops murdered 15-year-old Mustafa Sabah, south of occupied Bethlehem on April 28.
Military Raids
Hardly a month has passed since the beginning of 2023 without Israel carrying out deadly incursions into the occupied West Bank cities.
On the second of April, the Israeli occupation forces stormed Nablus and shot dead the Palestinians Muhammad Junaidi and Mahmmed Saeed.
Several days later, the Israeli troops carried out another deadly raid and killed Saud Al-Titi and Mohammed Abu Dhira’ in Nablus.
On April 24, Israeli forces stormed the Aqabat Jaber camp near Jericho, killed the Palestinian youth Suleiman Ayesh, and wounded several others.
Israeli troops killed Ahmed Taha, 39, in the occupied West Bank city of Salfit for allegedly trying to stab an Israeli soldier.
Moreover, the Israeli forces murdered Yousef Abu Jaber, a driver from Kafr Qassim, for allegedly carrying out a ramming attack.
Hatem Abu Nijma, a Palestinian citizen from occupied Jerusalem, ran over and wounded five Israeli settlers in Jerusalem before he was shot dead.
The number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces and settlers so far in 2023 has exceeded 106, including about 18 children.
