Hundreds of Jordanian activists took part in a protest in Amman in solidarity with Palestine on Friday afternoon, January 27, 2023.
The rally showed great solidarity with the Palestinian people and Al-Aqsa Mosque. It also came in protest of the escalating Israeli crimes against Jenin.
Participants expressed their anger at the Israeli aggression against Jenin, during which Israeli forces killed nine Palestinian youths.
Furthermore, Jordanian activists chanted for the Al-Aqsa Mosque, condemning the Israeli settlers’ incursions and attacks against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Protesters raised the Palestinian flags and expressed their rejection of the Israeli ongoing violations against Palestinians in Jenin and the holy city of Jerusalem.
The participants also chanted slogans in support of Palestinian resistance, denouncing treaties and agreements signed with the Israeli occupation government.
In addition, the participants criticized the continuation of diplomatic relations with Israel, calling on the Jordanian government to take firm measures to stop Israeli practices against the Palestinian people.
They also called the Jordanian government to expel the Israeli ambassador to Jordan in response to the recent Israeli crimes in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Earlier on Thursday, Israeli occupation forces launched an aggression on Jenin, killing nine Palestinians, including an elderly woman.
Jordan condemned Israeli crime, warning of a new “wave of violence that will affect all”. It also stressed the importance of Israel halting all its military operations against Palestinians.
Jordanian activists routinely organize protests and rallies in support of the Palestinian people and to protest against Israeli crimes and human rights violations.
