Israeli Forces Kidnap Palestinian Woman in Occupied Jerusalem

B.M | DOP -

Israeli occupation forces IOF detained on Friday afternoon, January 27, a Palestinian woman activist at the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.

Palestinian local sources reported that Israeli forces detained the Palestinian woman Nafisa Khewis, an activist at Al-Aqsa Mosque, in the Bab Al-Asbat area near Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In a related development, the Israeli forces extended the detention of the Palestinian Hanadi Al-Helwani until next Monday.

Two days ago, the Israeli forces broke into the home of Al-Helwani before arresting her in occupied Jerusalem. The Israeli forces also wreaked havoc on her home.

Israeli occupation forces systematically target Palestinian activists in occupied Jerusalem banning them from entering Al-Aqsa or detaining them.

Israeli occupation forces routinely ban worshipers from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque, banishing them from the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.

70,000 Palestinian worshipers perform Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque today in Jerusalem despite the Israeli barriers and restrictions.

Following the Friday prayer, worshipers took part in the funeral of Yousef Muhaisan, 22, who was killed by Israeli forces yesterday.

Israeli troops shot and killed Muhaisan in the Jerusalem town of Al-Ram when he participated in a protest against Israeli crimes in Jenin, which claimed the lives of nine Palestinians yesterday.
