Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation forces shot and injured a Palestinian teenager, arrested 20 others in a dawn raid in West Bank.
The teenager, who was wounded, and six other Palestinian citizens were arrested in the town of Beit Ummar in the south of the occupied West Bank.
Witnesses said that the 19 year old Noor Za’aqiq was returning home from his work in a gas station. He was shot in front of his house.
Palestinian medical sources said that the teenager was immediately evacuated to Al-Ahli hospital in Al-Khalil by a Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance. The sources said that he was shot in the left leg and described his wounds as moderate.
About the people arrested in the town, activist Mohamed Awad said that the Israel occupation forces arrested Ihab Awad, 19, Mohamed abu-Mariya, 19, Amir Ikhlayyil, 16, Muhammad abu-Ayyash, 28, Ismail Bregeith, 15, and Samir Sabarnah, 22.
Awad pointed out that the Israeli troops assaulted Muhammad abdul-Jawwad Ikhlayyil, 50, when they arrested his son Amir. They also attacked Mohamed Bregheith, 36, when they detained his brother Ismail.
The Israeli occupation forces also raided Al-Khalil and arrested Anas al-Qawasmah, 20, Motasem al-Qawasmah, 19, Mohannad Sidir, 20, and Mahmoud al-Hashlamoun, 22.
In town of Bani Naim east of Al-Khalil, the Israeli occupation forces arrested Asim Ballout, 19, after ransacking his home.
Palestinian sources also reported an Israeli raid in the West Bank city of Jenin. The sources said that the Israeli forces arrested Mohamed Walad-Ali from the village of Sanour.
While in the southern entrance of the city of Qalqiliya, the Israeli forces arrested Abdul-Rahim al-Ashqar, 20, who suffers psychological disorders, claiming he planned to stab an Israeli soldier.
Two other Palestinian citizens were also arrested by the Israeli occupation forces in the occupied city of Jerusalem. Both were named, by Palestinian sources, as Amin Dweik and Mohamed Iskafi.
