Israeli prison forces barbarically search Ashkelon jail

Israeli Prison Service forces stormed on Friday Palestinian prisoners' rooms in Ashkelon jail and violently searched two rooms.

Palestinian prisoner society stated that the Israeli Prison Service imposed more punitive measures on the Palestinian prisoners in the jail, most of them suffer from various illnesses.

The prisoner Murad Abu Alrob started a hunger strike protesting his solitary confinement. He was transferred to an isolation cell following a confrontation with the Israeli Prison Service against punitive measures. 

Tensions still loom in the Israeli prisons especially after the Israeli Prison Service tried to prevent Friday prayer.
