Israeli settlers attack the shepherds, south of Hebron

Days of Palestine - Hebron

Israeli settlers on Sunday attacked shepherds in the Sadat Al-Thagla area, east of Masfer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Fouad al-Amor, the coordinator of the Protection and Resilience Committees in Masafer Yatta and the mountains south of Hebron, said that a group of "Ma'on and Karmiel" settlers, who are stationed on citizens' lands east of  Masafer Yatta, attacked the shepherds in the Siddat al-Tha`la area in Masafer Yatta, and prevented them from entering the pastures, and attacked their sheep.

He pointed out that targeting the shepherds and preventing them from reaching pastures, aims to hit the livestock, which represents the only source of income for hundreds of families that inhabit the traveler and depend at this time of the season on pastures to feed their sheep.
