The Palestinian prisoner Amin Hashim Yusef Kamil, from the town of Qabatiya, south of occupied Jenin, entered Saturday, March 18, 2023 his 13th year inside the Israeli occupation prisons.
Muntasir Sammour, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club in Jenin, said that the prisoner Kamil has been detained since March 18, 2011, and the occupation courts have sentenced him to 21 years and 8 months imprisonment.
Sammour pointed out that the father and mother of the Palestinian prisoner Kamil died while he was still detained as the Israeli occupation prison adminstration deprived him of bidding the last farewell to them.
Note that 4,500 Palestinians are currently detained inside Israeli occupation prisons, including 400 who have severe and chronic illnesses, 31 women, and 500 administrative detainees.
In the absence of strong pressure to stop the systemic inhumane abuses, the racist and fascist policies of the Prison Service Administration have a negative impact on Palestinian detainees.
