Days of Palestine -

Days of Palestine – Gaza

Hamas Movement spokesman, Mr. Fawzi Barhoum, said that the mass displacement of people in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem, and the seizure of their homes, is an open targeting of the Palestinian Jerusalemite identity and their presence in the occupied city.

Barhoum, in a press statement on Sunday, considered the plans of the Israeli occupation as a dangerous racist aggressive behavior, and a new crime is added to his black record against our people in Jerusalem.

He noted that the absence of decisive and responsible positions by the Palestinian Authority towards this Zionist aggression, as well as the crime of Arab normalization, which formed the official cover for the continuation of these Zionist crimes and violations, encouraged the occupation to commit its crimes.

Barhoum called for the acceleration of the official Palestinian adoption by all the Palestinian resistance forces and the components of Palestinian people, for a strategy of extended national resistance that strengthens the steadfastness of people in Jerusalem, faces all these violations and crimes.

The Israeli occupation warned of any folly that would harm Palestinian people in Jerusalem and Sheikh Jarrah, holding it responsible and the repercussions of all these racist and extremist policies and the provocative actions it is carrying out against Jerusalemites.

He called on our people in Jerusalem, the West Bank to march to the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and to protest in its homes, alleys, and streets, and to form human shields of resistance, as happened in the Battle of the Gates, the Gate of Mercy, and the Bab al-Amud, to defend the people in Sheikh Jarrah, and to prevent the implementation of this Zionist scheme, no matter how much sacrifices.

Barhoum called on the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the people of the nation to shoulder their responsibilities in protecting Palestinian people in Jerusalem, working to curb this aggression, strengthening the steadfastness of Jerusalemites, and supporting the resistance of Palestinian people.
