Fourteen civil organizations in Kuwait announced their support and solidarity with the uprising of Al-Quds people in the face of the Israeli occupation violence.
This came in a joint statement published by Kuwaiti media Monday with the escalation of clashes between the Israeli occupation forces and the Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem.
The statement said that the scenes of heroism, willpower and determination wrought by our youth by confronting the flocks of criminal settlers concerned with stopping their crimes and that blessed uprising in front of the Al-Amoud Gate (one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque) are the scene that imposes itself.
They added that what is happening comes in the context of a Zionist plan to prevent Palestinian gatherings, militarize the region, and set up barriers and security measures that gradually enhance the domination of the occupation and control entry, exit, and presence in an effort to continue the violations and practices that launch their calls (temple organizations), which incite extremist settlers to storm the mosque, Al-Aqsa on 28 Ramadan.
The statement salutes the young Jerusalemite who faces the arrogance of the occupier with all courage.
The statement urged the civil society institutions to stand by the Jerusalemites and support them.
Among the most prominent Kuwaiti organizations that signed the statement are the Islamic Constitutional Movement, the Lawyers Association, the Society for Social Culture, the Kuwait Preachers Association, the Jerusalem Forum, the Boycott Movement, and the Teachers’ Association.
On Sunday, the Israeli forces withdrew from the “Bab al-Amud” area in central Jerusalem, after being closed to the Palestinians since the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan, on April 13th.
Since the beginning of the month of Ramadan, the occupation forces have prevented Palestinians from sitting and organizing annual Ramadan activities in the “Bab al-Amoud” area, one of the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, without explaining the reason for the ban, which caused clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces.
The clashes reached their climax, Thursday, after Jewish settlers’ attacks on Palestinians around occupied Jerusalem.

At least 110 Palestinians were injured during theclashes, and more than 50 young men were arrested.
