Days of Palestine – Nablus
A number of Palestinian civilians were suffocated and injured as a result of the Israeli occupation forces 'assault on them during their response to settlers' storming of "Khan al-Laban al-Sharqiya", south of Nablus.
Local sources reported that dozens of settlers stormed the Khan al-Laban al-Sharqiya with the protection of large forces from the occupation army and police, who declared the area a "closed military zone" and closed all roads leading to it, to prevent the residents from reaching the place.
He added that the people had gone to the place to confront the settlers, but the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at them, and beat them, which led to the injury of a number of them with bruises and cases of suffocation.
Khan Al-Sharqiya is an archaeological site that was built in the Ottoman era and contains a spring of water, and settlers have been trying for several years to control it, and the occupation bulldozers have already demolished many expansions, gates, and improvements that were added to the site in order to protect it.
