Days of Palestine – Qalqilia
Dozens of Palestinian civilians were suffocated today, Friday, during the Israeli occupation forces' suppression of the weekly peaceful anti-settlement march of Kafr Qaddum, near the city of Qalqilia in the occupied West Bank, according to witnesses.
The coordinator of the popular resistance in the village, Murad Shteiwi, said that the occupation soldiers attacked the participants in the march after it launched from the Omar bin Al-Khattab mosque, with tear gas, sound, and "sponge" bullets, which led to dozens of suffocation cases.
The injured were treated at the scene by local medics.
Almost every day, clashes erupt between Palestinian protesters and Israeli occupation forces in the village of Kafr Qaddum.
