A Hebron settler leader called on Tuesday to kill the mayor of Hebron, Tayseer Abu Sneineh, for his stance on refusing to add an elevator to disabled settlers near the Ibrahimi Mosque.

The Hebrew site, Serugim, reported that the head of the Kiryat Arba settlement council – Eliyahu Liebman – called for the mayor of Hebron to be killed, in response to the Israeli Supreme Court’s refusal to hear a settlement organization within a petition filed by Palestinians against a project to build an elevator for disabled settlers near the Ibrahimi Mosque.

Liebmann accused the court of colluding with Abu Siena, who represented the petitioners, claiming that his hands were stained with the blood of the Jews and therefore he should be killed.
