Gaza registered 109 new infections from the coronavirus in the besieged Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, reported the heath ministry in Gaza on Monday.
In a statement, the Health Ministry said the territory’s virus count rose to 3184 confirmed cases, including 22 deaths, and 1765 recoveries. The number of active cases has reached 1397.
The ministry called on residents to pursue social distancing to help stem the spread of the virus.
