Palestine Monday morning confirmed a new coronavirus fatality, raising the total death toll in the occupied territories since the pandemic outbreak to 21.
Health Minister Mai al-Kaileh announced in a press statement that a Palestinian, in his 60s, died due to the novel coronavirus at Dura Government Hospital. The fatality was identified as a resident of the southern West Bank district of Hebron.

She added that eight coronavirus patients remain in the intensive care units, including three who remain connected to respirators.
According to the latest coronavirus data, the confirmed cases in the occupied territories (West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and Gaza) reached 4,722.
Out of the 4,722 cases, 4,205 are in the West Bank, 72 in the Gaza Strip and 445 in East Jerusalem.
Recoveries have totaled 665, including 491 in the West Bank and Gaza and 174 in East Jerusalem, leaving a total of 4,036 active cases.
The total confirmed cases in Hebron have totaled 3,247, including 3,146 active cases.
